The Tonies

The Tonies is a rock and roll band from Kalamazoo, Michigan USA. Comprised of Tony Block and Tony Gettig, the debut CD release “Daily Dose” was released in 2000. Critics described the band’s music as “Green Day meets The Romantics meets The Ramones”. Fans just loved the raw energy both in the recorded music and live shows. If you ever saw The Tonies live, you know what we mean!

After many years of playing live, writing, and recording, we took a break to take care of our families, careers, and other stuff that can get in the way of working on music.

At the end of 2008, The Tonies are back to making music and set to release “Get Up And Move” in January or February 2009.
